WELCOME TO THE LIGHT OF CHRIST CATHOLIC COLLABORATIVE

We, the Light of Christ Catholic Collaborative, strive to convey our love of God and welcoming spirit to those within our greater community through evangelization, education, and service.

In fellowship with Jesus Christ and one another, in worship and prayer, we will welcome, encourage, teach and serve all people in all stages of faith on their journey toward everlasting life.

CHRISTMAS MASS SCHEDULE
Christmas is coming.
Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th:
Saint Bridget                              Holy Ghost
4:00 PM                                       4:00 PM
6:00 PM                                       12:00 Midnight
Masses on Christmas Day will be:
Saint Bridget                                Holy Ghost
10:00 AM                                      8:00 AM
*Please Note: There will be NO 9:00 a.m. Mass on Tuesday, December 24. And Both Parish Offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th.
History demonstrates that we will have many visitors coming to our Christmas Liturgies, in particular the 4:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Truly, this is a wonderful thing! We welcome the visitor, pray for them, and
encourage them to come every week to worship the Lord with us. This is what Evangelization is all about. That having been said: Some gentle advice – if you desire to have a more prayerful experience of Christmas Mass, you may wish to consider worshiping at a Mass other than the 4:00 p.m. in either Church where the crowds are manageable and the atmosphere is more conducive to prayer.

FATHER'S CORNER

As I sit to write these words early Tuesday morning the snow swirls outside. It makes me want to sing “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.” But Advent is a time of preparation for Christmas. When you think of the birth of a child, it doesn’t just happen. Its hopefully
proceeded by a special time for parents called pregnancy. I sometimes think when Mary left to visit her cousin Elizabeth, how selfless. Maybe even with morning sickness she went and visited her cousin to help her in her time of need. The story of Joseph and the
census being taken requiring Joseph to take a very pregnant Mary to Bethlehem, the city of David. Each clan had to go to their ancestral city for the census. Pregnancy is a time of expectation. While many want to know as much as they can about their child because of advances in science, up until our generation that was not possible. It maybe led more people to pray during their time of pregnancy. God is a part of this time.
